I enjoy photography, gardening and computer design. That's why my blogs are so enjoyable for me, because I can post the pictures (so many of gardens, landscapes, sunsets and of course grandchildren).

Nappanee Garden Walk-Timeless Treasures

The well tended geraniums, surrounding the porch of the Weaver house, grace your steps into their three story historical home. Visitors will be fascinated with the 18 rooms, 8 bedrooms, tooled leather wallpaper, Honduras mahogany and oak woodwork, and pocket doors. In 1910 Albert Mutschler (Mutschler Kitchens) hired architect Henry Frazier to design this stately home in a combination of the Colonial Revival and Prairie School architectural styles. It is said that Albert would stand in his master bedroom, gaze across the bricked streets, and observe his woodworking factory a few blocks south. Imagine life as it was a century ago while you stroll through this timeless treasure.
