2011 Nappanee Home & Garden Club Annual Walk

The Nappanee Home & Garden Club’s annual walk will take place Saturday, June 18, 2011, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Tickets will be available at the first stop on the walk located at the new Nappanee Welcome Center Quilt Garden, one of the featured gardens on the 2011 Elkhart County Visitor’s Bureau Quilt Garden Tour. This 30x30 plot features an apple quilt and is titled, “All American as Apple Pie”. An additional five locations will be included on the tour.

From the Welcome Center visitors will travel to the only city site at the corner of E. Van Buren and St.Rd.19 (Main St.). The next gardens, located in the country, include places on County Roads, 52, 46 and 100.

Ticket price is $5.00. Visitors will receive a map and brochure for the walk. Complimentary refreshments will be available on the tour. Ticket sales will end at 12 noon; however the tour will remain open until 2:00 p.m.
