I enjoy photography, gardening and computer design. That's why my blogs are so enjoyable for me, because I can post the pictures (so many of gardens, landscapes, sunsets and of course grandchildren).

A Honey of a Home

Clayton and Ann Love, 23115 Co. Rd. 54
Just up the road is the home of Gil and Edna's daughter Ann. As you enter this fenced, wooded lot you will notice a cute cottage tucked beside a cascade of water tumbling into a small pond. Splashes are heard from frogs jumping from one lily pad to another. Bees are humming over and around the plants and water. Perennials and grasses surround the area and a peaceful patio nearby beckons one to sit with an early morning cup of coffee. Paths leading into the woods complete this woodsy picture of serenity. This couple also shares their space with one of nature's busiest creatures. . . honeybees! Clayton is an expert beekeeper and will share his knowledge of bees every hour beginning at 10:00 a.m. Each session will last approximately 15 minutes with enough time for visitors to ask questions. Honey is also available for purchase.
